Blood diagnostics in Hamburg
What this is
A blood panel shows connections you cannot see from the outside: where inflammation markers stand, how your metabolism is working, whether important nutrients are missing. We do not turn to laboratory analysis only when a therapy stalls, often we use it from the start, as a second pillar alongside treatment.

A blood panel built around your question
We deliberately do not work with fixed packages. Which parameters we look at follows from what you tell us: your symptoms, your history, what runs in your family and what you want to achieve. Your lab profile is put together from that.
Four reasons for coming bring people to us most often.

Questions about this service
Frequently asked
Why isn't the blood panel from my GP enough?
A GP's blood panel answers different questions. Above all it checks whether there is an illness that needs treating. We are additionally interested in how your metabolism works day to day, parameters that are not usually included there. The two complement each other; one does not replace the other.
Is the test covered by health insurance?
No, we invoice these services privately. The cost depends on the scope of the lab profile and is discussed with you beforehand.
What happens if something is abnormal?
Then we tell you clearly and, where necessary, refer you to the appropriate specialist. We work alongside medicine, not in its place.
How often does a check like this make sense?
For an overview, once a year is usually enough. When we are working on something specific, we re-check individual values at shorter intervals to see how they develop.
How long does it take to get my results?
Most values reach us the same day; a few parameters take longer. As a rule you will have your completed report within seven to fourteen days. It does not simply arrive in your inbox, we go through it with you.
Do I need to fast before the blood draw?
For the micronutrient analysis, yes. Please eat nothing in the eight hours before the draw. Water and unsweetened tea are fine, and you are welcome to drink plenty of both, coffee and juice are not. Do tell us beforehand if you take any supplements. Some of them need to be paused a few days in advance for your results to mean anything. We go through this with you when the appointment is booked.

What patients often look for here as well
Micronutrients and orthomolecular medicine
Micronutrients are vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids, the building blocks your metabolism works with. Orthomolecular medicine is about balancing those building blocks in a targeted way. The most important part is not the preparation but the measurement that comes before it.
→ServiceGut and microbiome analysis
The gut hosts a vast number of bacteria involved in digestion, nutrient absorption and the regulation of the immune system. A microbiome analysis gives an impression of that population and indicates whether, and where, to start.
→ServiceHormone and metabolic diagnostics
Hormones govern energy, sleep, the stress response and recovery. We test selected parameters in blood and saliva.
→ServiceInfusion medicine
In infusion therapy, nutrients are given directly into the bloodstream. That makes sense when absorption through the gut is limited or when a targeted, short-term replenishment is the aim. With us it always begins with a conversation and, where the question calls for it, a laboratory test, we do not compose an infusion without knowing why.
→AreaDiagnostics
