Area 01
Therapy
Everything we do with our hands and with targeted techniques, from classical physiotherapy through to dry needling.
Who it is for
You come to us with acute pain after a wrong movement. With complaints that keep coming back for months. After an operation, when it is time to get going again. Or because you want to keep playing your sport and your body is not cooperating right now.
What all cases have in common: we look at the movement chain, not just the joint. A knee problem often has its cause in the hip, a shoulder pain in the thoracic spine.

What often plays into this
Rehabilitation
Back to full load-bearing capacity, not just to being free of pain. From the first day after surgery through to the return to sport.
→AreaTraining & Performance
Where therapy ends, training begins. Medical training, athletic work, mobility and breathing, built up in a structured way rather than improvised.
→ClinicBack clinic in Hamburg
Back pain needs clarity first. We examine precisely, put joints, muscles, discs, movement and load into context, and then take you through therapy with a clear plan. For complex cases we draw on a strong network of doctors in Hamburg, across Germany and internationally.
→AreaDiagnostics
We look closely before we treat. A full history, a clinical examination, functional testing, and measurement where measurement helps.

Frequently asked
The service pages carry their own questions, each specific to the topic.
What is the difference between physiotherapy and osteopathy?
Physiotherapy works specifically on structure and function, mobility, strength, load capacity, often with active exercise. Osteopathy looks at the body as a whole system and searches for connections between areas that at first sight have nothing to do with each other. In practice the two complement each other: with us, examination is often osteopathic and rebuilding physiotherapeutic.
How many appointments will I need?
That depends on the findings. For an acute restriction one treatment can be enough. For a longer-standing problem we plan in blocks and after a few appointments look together at where we stand. We tell you from the start what to expect, and we also tell you if we think something else would help you more.
Can I come without a doctor's referral?
Officially a doctor's prescription is required for treatment. You can hand it in afterwards, what matters is the date on it. As a self-paying patient you need no prescription and can come straight away. If you are unsure, write to us: we settle it with you personally before you make an appointment.
