Lilith Laube

Book with LilithAs a physiotherapist and osteopath, it has always mattered to her not to look at complaints in isolation but to understand the person and their health as a whole. Her pronounced medical interest led her ever deeper into whole-body laboratory medicine over the years.

What I treat
Lilith works above all with people whose complaints are recurring, long-standing or complex, and where metabolism, inflammatory processes, micronutrient supply, gut health, recovery or lifestyle factors may play a part.
The aim is to recognise the relevant connections and derive a targeted, individual course of treatment from them.
Focus
The metabolic consultation: nutrition, movement, stress and metabolism seen together, supported by laboratory diagnostics and targeted supplementation.
In the metabolic consultation, Lilith brings together what is usually looked at separately: nutrition, movement, stress and sleep on one side, metabolism, inflammatory processes, micronutrients, gut and microbiome on the other. The basis is whole-body laboratory diagnostics. From a detailed reading of the values, and the possible contributing factors behind them, she develops individual treatment plans that combine nutrition, targeted supplementation, infusion therapy and adjustments to movement, sleep, stress and recovery, according to the findings. What matters is not the single laboratory value but recognising the relevant connections, and translating the results into a clear, comprehensible plan.
Background
Lilith does not see targeted laboratory diagnostics as merely the next step when a therapy stalls, but often as a second important pillar of therapy from the very beginning. It can provide valuable pointers to underlying connections and help to address complaints more precisely, to classify inflammatory processes better and to understand one's own body and its individual needs.
Through many years of further training in infusion medicine, laboratory diagnostics, gut and microbiome therapy, orthomolecular medicine and metabolic regulation, Lilith brings different medical and therapeutic approaches together. Her attention also extends to nutrition, sleep and stress management, factors she sees as inseparable from long-term health and lasting therapeutic success.
Approach
Recognising connections, understanding causes better and thinking about therapy as a whole.

Functional Medicine
Some complaints cannot be treated away. Targeted laboratory diagnostics can point to connections the hands cannot find: inflammatory processes, micronutrient deficiencies, a metabolism that has slipped out of rhythm.
→ServiceBlood diagnostics and health check
A blood panel shows connections you cannot see from the outside: where inflammation markers stand, how your metabolism is working, whether important nutrients are missing. We do not turn to laboratory analysis only when a therapy stalls, often we use it from the start, as a second pillar alongside treatment.
→ServiceMicronutrients and orthomolecular medicine
Micronutrients are vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids, the building blocks your metabolism works with. Orthomolecular medicine is about balancing those building blocks in a targeted way. The most important part is not the preparation but the measurement that comes before it.
→ServiceGut and microbiome analysis
The gut hosts a vast number of bacteria involved in digestion, nutrient absorption and the regulation of the immune system. A microbiome analysis gives an impression of that population and indicates whether, and where, to start.
→ServiceInfusion medicine
In infusion therapy, nutrients are given directly into the bloodstream. That makes sense when absorption through the gut is limited or when a targeted, short-term replenishment is the aim. With us it always begins with a conversation and, where the question calls for it, a laboratory test, we do not compose an infusion without knowing why.
→ServiceNAD+ therapy
NAD+ is a coenzyme produced by the body that is involved in energy metabolism in almost every cell. In recent years it has become a much-discussed topic, with correspondingly big promises. We approach it soberly: consultation, checking the indication, an agreed protocol, support. And an honest account of what the evidence supports today and what it does not.
→AreaDiagnostics
We look closely before we treat. A full history, a clinical examination, functional testing, and measurement where measurement helps.
→ServiceHormone and metabolic diagnostics
Hormones govern energy, sleep, the stress response and recovery. We test selected parameters in blood and saliva.
→ServiceShockwave therapy
In shockwave therapy, mechanical pressure waves are directed precisely into the tissue. It is used above all for stubborn tendon complaints and calcifications, usually over several sessions and always in combination with treatment and rebuilding, never as a stand-alone measure.
→ClinicMetabolic consultation in Hamburg
Your metabolism has a say in how much energy you have, how well you recover and how much load you can take. In a metabolic consultation we combine your history with targeted laboratory diagnostics and turn the results into a clear plan you can follow.
