Functional Assessment
What this is
A structured examination of your body for stability, mobility and flexibility, not at a single joint, but across the whole movement chain. We see which areas are doing work that really belongs elsewhere. That is exactly where overload develops, often long before it hurts.

Questions about this service
Frequently asked
Is this the same as an initial assessment?
The initial assessment before treatment is the shorter version and focuses on your current complaint. The functional assessment goes further and looks at the whole body, worthwhile for recurring problems, before a season, or when nothing has helped so far.
What happens with the results?
We go through them with you, put them in context and derive a plan, treatment, training or both. The results also serve as a baseline so that progress can be measured later.

Diagnostics
We look closely before we treat. A full history, a clinical examination, functional testing, and measurement where measurement helps.
→TennisTennis screening
An orthopaedic functional analysis of the body for stability, mobility and flexibility, aligned to the movement chain that carries the serve. We see where rotation is missing and which area is making up for it. That is exactly where the next overload develops.
→ServicePrevention and physio check-up
What applies to your car applies to your body: check it regularly, before something gives out. The FUNCTIONAL MED Screen looks at mobility, strength and movement quality and shows where targeted work makes sense.
→ServiceReturn-to-sport testing
With test batteries we developed ourselves, we check strength, jump performance, landing control, changes of direction and differences between sides under real load. That shows objectively how much load your body can already take.
→Functional assessment, book with no obligation.
