Prevention and physio check-up in Hamburg
What this is
What applies to your car applies to your body: check it regularly, before something gives out. The FUNCTIONAL MED Screen looks at mobility, strength and movement quality and shows where targeted work makes sense.

What is checked
Who it is for
For anyone without acute complaints who wants to know where they stand.
For people with a lot of desk time and not much movement, for anyone starting sport again after a long break, and for athletes before a new season.
And for anyone whose same spot keeps making itself known without ever really hurting.
How it works
The FUNCTIONAL MED Screen starts with a conversation about your daily life, your sport, old injuries and your goals.
Then comes a structured examination of mobility, strength, stability and movement quality along the whole movement chain. We show you which areas are doing work that belongs elsewhere, because that is where overload develops, often long before it hurts.
You go home with clear results and a short, targeted exercise programme.
A baseline for later
The results are not only an assessment of today.
They are also a baseline the next check can be compared against.
That shows you in black and white whether something has improved or a weak point is building, so you can act before something gives out.

Frequently asked
I don't have any complaints. Is the check still worth it?
That is exactly what it is for. Much overload builds up over months before it hurts. If you know early where mobility is missing or one side is weaker, a little work now can head it off, rather than a lot of treatment later.
How often should I come for a check?
Once a year is usually enough for an overview. Before a new season, after a longer break, or when the same spot keeps flaring up, an extra appointment makes sense.
How is this different from the Functional Assessment?
Both use similar tests. The Functional Assessment usually starts from existing or recurring complaints and goes into depth accordingly. The physio check-up is for people without acute complaints: a structured overview with clear priorities and a baseline for later.
What happens if something shows up?
Then we tell you clearly what we see and how much it matters. Often a targeted exercise programme is enough; sometimes a few treatment or training sessions make sense. And if something should be assessed medically, we refer you to the right specialist.

Functional Assessment
A structured examination of your body for stability, mobility and flexibility, not at a single joint, but across the whole movement chain. We see which areas are doing work that really belongs elsewhere. That is exactly where overload develops, often long before it hurts.
→ServiceBlood diagnostics and health check
A blood panel shows connections you cannot see from the outside: where inflammation markers stand, how your metabolism is working, whether important nutrients are missing. We do not turn to laboratory analysis only when a therapy stalls, often we use it from the start, as a second pillar alongside treatment.
→ServiceMedical training
Training based on findings. You do not train to a standard plan but to what the examination showed, and always supervised by someone who knows why this exercise is the right one right now.
